Visualization and control of the White Carpathian House of Nature in the town of Veseli nad Moravou, Czechia

Situated in the historic core of the town of Veseli nad Moravou on the bank of the river Morava, the House of Nature is a modern facility serving as a visitor center for the White Carpathians mountain range.

It was built in 2021–2023 with the help of European, regional, and municipal subsidies. The complete implementation of electrical and control devices was carried out in close collaboration between ELG-ELECTRIC and GEOVAP. The White Carpathian House of Nature is operated by the Czech Union for Nature Conservation.

Control system

From the point of view of building control, this is a complex project where the PLCs communicate with each other and which includes:

• Lighting through DALI-2 motion/presence sensors and DALI ballasts
• Lighting (conventional switching circuits)
• Shades and skylight shades
• Atrea DUPLEX 1500 MultiEco air handling unit (Modbus TCP)
• Hot water preparation and distribution
• Hot water heating
• Solar heating system
• FUJITSU air conditioners (Modbus RTU)
• IRC devices and Regmet room controllers (Modbus RTU)
• JABLOTRON security control panel (Modbus RTU)
• Energy metering (M-Bus)

The control PC, which is located in the reception area, is equipped with Reliance Control Server to visualize all operating data. Some data is also stored for evaluation and maintenance purposes.
